Spring risotto with lemon, asparagus & peas
Delicate, creamy and blessed with the goodness of fresh spring veggies. Nothing says spring like the bright taste of peas, asparagus, and lemon. With the Gentle Heat Technology of the Hi6 hob, your risotto will cook to perfection, with no uneven heat or hard to handle temperature swings.
Ingredients
- 200 g risotto rice (Arborio, Roma, …)
- 1 l vegetable broth
- 160 g fresh peas
- 1 bunch asparagus (chopped)
- 1 shallot (diced)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 lemon (zest & juice)
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat up the vegetable broth on a side cooking zone. With the Auto Programme: Warm it will stay at perfect temperature throughout the cook.
- On your main cooking zone set medium heat and sauté the shallot and garlic in butter.
- Add the rice and stir fry for a minute or two. Then begin adding the broth one ladle at a time. Do not let your rice sit alone. Stir it often. Continue adding broth and cooking until the rice is almost done. The rice should be cooking gently and evenly with the Gentle Heat Technology.
- Add the peas, asparagus and lemon juice. Cook for a few minutes, until everything is heated through and just cooked. Finish with Parmesan and lemon zest, add salt and pepper to taste.
Seared lamb chops with herb butter
A flavourful and juicy main dish that will impress even the most demanding foodies. Sear all lamb chops to perfection using the Bridge Area that merges two cooking zones into one large cooking surface – ideal for large grill pans.

Ingredients
- 8 lamb chops
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary (chopped)
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme (chopped)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Activate the Bridge Area on the Hisense Hi6 hob. Take a large grilling pan and heat it up.
- Season the lamb chops with salt and pepper. Add olive oil to the pan and sear lamb chops for about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Let them develop a nice golden-brown crust. With the Multi Zone Sliders you can effortlessly and precisely adjust the temperature of the cooking zone to get your meat done just right.
- Reduce the heat and add butter, herbs and lemon juice. Baste the chops with the herb butter as they finish cooking. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
White chocolate and strawberry cups
Strawberries are the epitome of spring. If you can find a fresh batch (the ones that smell divine even from a distance) whip up this easy white chocolate mousse and pamper everybody after a delicious meal.

Ingredients
- 250 g white chocolate chips
- 330 ml heavy whipping cream
- 50 g powdered sugar
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 200 g fresh strawberries (chopped)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Few leaves mint (chopped)
- Melt together chocolate chips and 100 ml of heavy cream, stirring continuously. The Auto Programme: Melt will keep the perfect temperature, ensuring the chocolate melts gently without overheating or burning. This means you don’t have to keep an eye on it —just let the programme do the work for you and remove it when there are a few small lumps left. Continue stirring off the hob until it is perfectly melted. Let it cool a bit.
- Whip the remaining heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Carefully fold a few big spoonsful of the whipped cream into the white chocolate. When fully mixed, fold in the remaining whipped cream.
- Put mousse into cups and refrigerate to set.
- Mix together the strawberries, 2 tbsp sugar, lemon juice and mint. Cover and put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This step is totally optional, you can simply use fresh chopped strawberries.
- When mousse is set, top it with the strawberries and serve.
